Home Capital Group renews normal course issuer bid

Toronto-based Home Capital Group Inc. renewed its normal course issuer bid for the repurchase of up to 10% of its common shares.

The renewal takes effect on Jan. 1, 2017, and lasts through the end of the year.

The company may purchase for cancellation up to 5,336,040 shares of its common stock less the common shares repurchased under the company's current normal course issuer bid which began Sept. 16. The Toronto Stock Exchange approved the early termination of the previous bid, in which the company purchased 584,300 shares.
