PepinNini Lithium Ltd. said Feb. 22 that it secured an option from LSC Lithium Corp. unit LitheA Inc. to acquire the Mina Patilla lithium project in Argentina's Salar de Pular for about US$1.1 million in staged cash payments.
The acquisition will consolidate its landholding at the Argentine border of Salar de Pular, where PepinNini holds the Mina Moncho and Mina Sulfa project areas, forming the Salta project.
In addition, the companies agreed to a direct swap of LitheA's tenement in Salar de Incahuasi for PepinNini's landholding in Salinas Grandes.
