Thanapiriya Public Company Ltd said its fourth-quarter normalized net income was 2 satang per share, a decline of 66.4% from 5 satang per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 11.1 million baht, a gain of 10.7% from 10.1 million baht in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to 3.1% from 3.3% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose 16.4% year over year to 358.3 million baht from 307.7 million baht, and total operating expenses increased 16.7% from the prior-year period to 341.4 million baht from 292.6 million baht.
Reported net income grew 34.6% on an annual basis to 16.7 million baht, or 2 satang per share, from 12.4 million baht, or 6 satang per share.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled 5 satang per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized EPS estimate of 5 satang.
EPS declined 73.7% from 17 satang in the prior year.
Normalized net income was 28.5 million baht, a decrease of 19.9% from 35.5 million baht in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue grew 9.9% from the prior-year period to 1.32 billion baht from 1.20 billion baht, and total operating expenses increased 11.3% year over year to 1.27 billion baht from 1.14 billion baht.
The company said reported net income declined 13.7% on an annual basis to 39.1 million baht, or 6 satang per share, in the full year, from 45.4 million baht, or 22 satang per share.
