Yomeishu Seizo fiscal Q3 profit falls YOY

Yomeishu Seizo Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2015, came to ¥633.8 million, a decrease of 15.8% from ¥752.5 million in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin fell to 16.0% from 17.9% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue decreased 5.5% on an annual basis to ¥3.97 billion from ¥4.20 billion, and total operating expenses decreased on an annual basis to ¥3.04 billion from ¥3.10 billion.

Reported net income totaled ¥685.0 million, compared with ¥778.0 million, or ¥56.78 per share, in the prior-year period.

As of Jan. 29, US$1 was equivalent to ¥120.99.
