Mah Sing ups expansion in Malaysian town with 520M ringgit project

Mah Sing Group is planning to launch the M Aruna @ Rawang, its third project in Rawang, Selangor, Malaysia, with gross development value expected to hit 520 million Malaysian ringgit, The (Malaysia) Star reported Aug. 12.

The 97-acre project will comprise 565 units of two-story connected units and cluster garden homes. Units in the initial phase of the development will measure about 1,700 square feet each and will be priced at least 550,000 ringgit, according to the report.

Construction will have four phases, with the last comprising 240 town houses allocated for affordable housing.

According to the publication, the M Aruna project follows the 226-acre M Residence @ Rawang and the 157-acre M Residence 2 @ Rawang. Mah Sing has a total land bank of 480 acres in Rawang.

As of Aug. 11, US$1 was equivalent to 4.30 Malaysian ringgit.
