Supreme Court dismisses Wells Fargo appeal against $203M overdraft suit ruling

The U.S. Supreme Court has rejected 's appeal relatedto a $203 million ruling,Reuters reported April 4.

In August 2010, a federal court ordered the company to paythe settlement in connection with a class-action lawsuit accusing it ofimposing excessive overdraft fees. In October 2014, U.S. Court ofAppeals for Ninth Circuit upheld the orderof U.S. District Judge William Alsup reinstating the $203 million judgmentagainst unit Wells Fargo BankNA.
