NC regulators approve Dominion fuel rate adjustments

The North Carolina Utilities Commission approved Virginia Electric and Power Co.'s fuel rate adjustments for 11 months, starting Feb. 1.

An average residential customer using 1,000 kWh per month will see an increase of $3.49 on their electric bill as compared to 2017 rates, according to a Jan. 30 filing.

Virginia Electric and Power, a subsidiary of Dominion Energy Inc., does business as Dominion Energy North Carolina in the state.
