Sirius XM Holdings Inc. and Amazon.com Inc. have teamed up to bundle the online retail giant's Echo devices with SiriusXM's streaming service.

Eligible customers who already own or will purchase an Echo device through Amazon.com will get free SiriusXM programming for the first three months when they subscribe to a new SiriusXM Premier Streaming or SiriusXM All Access package.

Signing up for a new SiriusXM All Access or SiriusXM Premier Streaming subscription, which are now offered at promotional rates, through SiriusXM.com will entitle consumers to receive Amazon's new Echo Dot for free, and with a minimum six-month service requirement.

For existing SiriusXM subscribers, upgrading to a SiriusXM All Access from a SiriusXM Select package will make them eligible to receive the Echo Dot and also gain access to SiriusXM's full streaming platform.

More initiatives related to Amazon devices, the Alexa voice service and SiriusXM streaming service are set to be announced later this year.
