Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired Glenview, Ill.-based life insurance general agency SouthCap Brokerage Group LLC.

SouthCap assists wealth managers, financial advisers and insurance professionals with their clients' advanced life insurance and estate planning needs.

Luke Kaplan, James Tucker and their associates will relocate to Gallagher's offices in Rolling Meadows, Ill. and Atlanta under the direction of John Neumaier, head of Gallagher's Great Lakes employee benefits consulting and brokerage operations.
