S&P Global Market Intelligence rounds up notable branch openings and closings over the past week. This wrap excludes certain moves by banks with more than $5 billion in assets and certain credit unions.

Mid-Atlantic

Philadelphia-based Republic First Bank obtained the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities' approval to open a branch at 1544 Route 38 in Lumberton, N.J., according to the state regulator's summary of activities.

Republic First Bancorp Inc. is the bank's parent company.

Butler, Pa.-based NexTier Bank NA, a unit of Kittanning, Pa.-based NexTier Inc., established a loan production office in Cleveland, according to a press release.

Catskill, N.Y.-based Bank of Greene County (MHC) notified the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency that it opened a branch at 179 County Route 7A in Copake, N.Y., according to the regulator's website.

The bank is a subsidiary of Greene County Bancorp Inc. (MHC). Greene County Bancorp MHC is the bank's ultimate parent.

Newark, N.J.-based City National Bank of New Jersey, a unit of City National Bancshares Corp., notified the OCC that it intends to close its branch at 2815 Atlantic Ave. in Brooklyn, N.Y.

The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation approved Phoenixville, Pa.-based Customers Bank's application to operate a foreign bank representative office at 53 West Jackson Boulevard, Suite 1320 in Chicago, according to a regulatory report for September.

The bank is a subsidiary of Wyomissing, Pa.-based Customers Bancorp Inc.

Midwest

Chicago-based American Metro Bank, a unit of American Metro Bancorp Inc., plans to open a branch at 253-255 W. Cermak Road in Chicago, according to the state banking regulator's regulatory report.

Hartford, Ky.-based Citizens Bank, a unit of Hartland Financial Inc., obtained the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis' approval to open a branch at 11 E. Main St. in Hiseville, Ky., according to a Fed release.

Sparta, Mich.-based ChoiceOne Bank, a unit of ChoiceOne Financial Services Inc., applied with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago for a branch at 330 Market Avenue S.W. in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Festus, Mo.-based Midwest Regional Bank began construction of a branch at 135 N. Meramec Ave. in Clayton, Mo. The branch is expected to be completed in spring 2018, according to a press release.

The bank is a subsidiary of Midwest Regional Bancorp Inc.

Kingston National Bank of Ohio seeks to open a branch at 301 N. Court St. in Circleville, Ohio, according to the OCC's website.

Kingston Bancshares Inc. is the bank's parent company.

Park Rapids, Minn.-based Northwoods Bank of Minnesota, a unit of Dorset Bancshares Inc., intends to close its branch at 1275 W. 4th St. in Rush City, Minn., according to the OCC's website.

Peoples National Bank of New Lexington of Ohio, a unit of Peoples National Bancshares Inc., applied with the OCC for a branch at 109 N. Columbus St. in Somerset, Ohio.

Northeast

Berkshire Hills Bancorp Inc., the parent company of Berkshire Bank, is moving its headquarters from Pittsfield, Mass., to Boston. The company expects to begin occupying the new space, located at 60 State St., in December, according to a press release.

Southeast

Harrrogate, Tenn.-based Commercial Bank, a unit of Commercial Bancgroup Inc., applied with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta for a branch at 225 W. 1st North St. in Morristown, Tenn.

The Georgia Department of Banking and Finance approved Hawkinsville, Ga.-based Planters First Bank's application to open a branch at 110 N. Westover Blvd., Suite A in Albany, Ga., according to state regulator's September bulletin.

Planters First Bancorp is the bank's parent company.

Doraville, Ga.-based First IC Bank, formerly called First Intercontinental Bank, opened a branch at 6170 Live Oak Parkway in Norcross, Ga., according to state regulator's bulletin.

The bank is a unit of First IC Corp.

Lebanon, Tenn.-based Wilson Bank Holding Co., the parent company of Wilson Bank and Trust, on Aug. 29 opened an office at 2930 W. End Ave. in Nashville, Tenn., according to a Form 8-K filed Oct. 10.

First National Bank of Hartford in Alabama, a subsidiary of First Hartford Bancshares Inc., obtained the OCC's approval to open a branch at 907 Rucker Blvd. in Enterprise, Ala.

The OCC approved Sevierville, Tenn.-based Citizens National Bank's application to open a branch at 2339 Newport Highway in Sevierville.

CNB Bancshares Inc. is the bank's parent company.

Jonesville, Va.-based Powell Valley National Bank, a unit of Powell Valley Bankshares Inc., obtained the OCC's approval to open a branch at Outparcel #1 of Walmart Development at Lee Highway in Abingdon, Va.

Camden, Ala.-based Community Neighbor Bank, a unit of First Camden Bancshares Inc., opened a branch at 50 Dunn St. in Pine Hill, Ala., according to the Alabama State Banking Departments' September report.

The Alabama banking regulator approved Scottsboro, Ala.-based FNB Bank's application to open a branch at 1302 Gunter Ave. in Guntersville, Ala.

The bank is a unit of FNS Bancshares Inc.

Birmingham, Ala.-based ServisFirst Bank, a unit of ServisFirst Bancshares Inc., obtained state regulatory approval to open a branch at 54 S. Greeno Road in Fairhope, Ala.

Talladega, Ala.-based First Bank of Alabama, a unit of Firstbanc of Alabama Inc., obtained state regulatory approval to open a branch at 83183 Alabama Highway 9 in Ashland, Ala.

Piedmont, Ala.-based Farmers & Merchants Bank, a unit of F&M Financial Corp, obtained state regulatory approval to open a loan production office at 1925 W. Main St. in Centre, Ala.

Alabama-based AuburnBank, a unit of Auburn National Bancorp. Inc., obtained state regulatory approval to open a loan production office at 1967 E. Samford Ave. in Auburn.

Seminole, Fla.-based First Home Bank, a unit of First Home Bancorp Inc., applied with the Atlanta Fed for a branch at 2028 Liberty Road, Suite 202 in Eldersburg, Md.

Southwest

The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City approved Claremore, Okla.-based RCB Bank's application to open a de novo branch at 3000 W. Memorial Road in Oklahoma City.

The bank is a unit of RCB Holding Co.

McAllen, Texas-based Lone Star National Bank, a unit of Lone Star National Bancshares--Texas Inc., seeks to close two branches in Texas, according to the OCC's website. The branches are located at 1201 S. Cage in Pharr and at 918 W. Harrison in Harlingen.

Hollis, Okla.-based Great Plains National Bank, a unit of Great Plains Bancshares Inc., applied with the OCC for a branch at 610 S. Country Club in El Reno, Okla.

Mount Pleasant, Texas-based Guaranty Bank & Trust NA, a unit of Guaranty Bancshares Inc., seeks the OCC's approval to open a branch at 7004 Bee Cave Road, Building 3, Suite 315 in Austin, Texas.

Quitman, Texas-based BTH Bank NA, a unit of BT Holdings Inc., opened a branch at 2550 Eldorado Parkway in McKinney, Texas, according to the OCC's website.

Ralls, Texas-based Vista Bank closed two branches in the state, according to the Texas Department of Banking's website.

The Vista Bancshares Inc. subsidiary closed its branches at 104 W. Main St. in Crosbyton and at 705 6th St. in Lorenzo.

Longview, Texas-based Texas Bank and Trust Co. closed its branch at 10680 S. Main St. in New London, Texas.

The bank is a unit of Longview Delaware Corp. Longview Financial Corp. is the bank's parent company.

Tyler, Texas-based Southside Bank, a unit of Southside Bancshares Inc., closed its branch at 9516 Clifford St. in Fort Worth, Texas, according to the state banking regulator's website.

Littlefield, Texas-based AimBank, a unit of AIM Bancshares Inc., obtained the Texas banking regulator's approval to open a branch at 3910 S. Treadaway Blvd. in Abilene, Texas.

Abbeville, La.-based Gulf Coast Bank is set to close it branch at 1229 N.W. Evangeline Thruway in Lafayette, La., according to the Louisiana Office of Financial Institution's September bulletin.

The bank is a subsidiary of Gulf Coast Bancshares Inc.

The Louisiana banking regulator approved Lake Charles, La.-based Lakeside Bank's application to open a temporary location at 2594 Maplewood Drive in Sulphur, La., and upon completion, a permanent location at 2612 Maplewood Drive in Sulphur.

Jennings, La.-based JD Bank, a unit of Jeff Davis Bancshares Inc., closed its branch at 5557 Vidrine Road in Ville Platte, La., according to the state banking regulator's bulletin.

West

Helena, Mont.-based Opportunity Bank of Montana, a unit of Eagle Bancorp Montana Inc., obtained the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis' approval to open a branch at 895 Main St. in Billings, Mont.
