Metalicity Ltd. said Aug. 1 that it plans to start a maiden drill program at its Pilgangoora North lithium project, formerly the Lynas Find North project, in Western Australia shortly after recently securing the project's regulatory and native title approvals.
The initial drill program aims to test for mineralized pegmatites extending north into the southern parts of the tenement below the pegmatites that are already mapped at surface.
Meanwhile, the company has also received regulatory and native title approvals for a planned phase-two drill program at its Stannum lithium project in the same state, which will follow-up on the initial lithium discovery from Metalicity's first-pass drill program at the property in the last quarter of 2016.
Metalicity will evaluate the maiden drill program at Pilgangoora North before deciding on whether to proceed with the phase-two drill program at Stannum.
