China exports up in November YOY

China's exports denominated in yuan climbed 10.3% year over year in November, and imports rose by 15.6%.

Trade surplus totaled 263.6 billion yuan in November, down 8.4% year over year.

China's dollar-denominated exports rose 12.3% in November annually, compared to a 6.9% rise in October, Reuters reported, citing the General Administration of Customs. Imports in dollar-denominated terms jumped 17.7% from the previous year, compared with a 17.2% gain in October.

Trade surplus amounted to $40.21 billion for the month, Reuters reported.

As of Dec. 7, US$1 was equivalent to 6.62 Chinese yuan.
