K92 Mining Inc. said Aug. 10 that it named COO and director John Lewins as CEO, replacing Ian Stalker.
Lewins, a mineral engineer with over 35 years of experience in the industry, previously held senior positions with MIM Holdings Ltd., First Dynasty Mines Ltd. and Armada Gold Corp..
Stalker will remain with the company as director in a strategic planning role.
The company is ramping up production at the Irumafimpa gold mine in Papua New Guinea, with an exploration drilling program at the Kora extension target about to commence.
