Thai Wah Q3 profit climbs 17.6% YOY

4913395 said its normalized net income for the third quarter was 70 satang per share, a gain of 17.1% from 60 satang per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 55.2 million baht, a gain of 17.6% from 46.9 million baht in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin rose to 5.0% from 4.5% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue increased 5.5% on an annual basis to 1.11 billion baht from 1.05 billion baht, and total operating expenses grew 9.3% year over year to 1.06 billion baht from 967.4 million baht.

Reported net income fell 7.1% on an annual basis to 58.1 million baht, or 74 satang per share, from 62.5 million baht, or 80 satang per share.
