HighBrook Investors wrapped up its largest real estate fund, HighBrook Property Fund III, PERE News reported, citing an unnamed source.
The fund and a pair of co-investment vehicles garnered an aggregate of more than $600 million at a final close held earlier in October, above a fundraising target of $450 million, the source told the news outlet.
A majority of the investors in the fund were foundations, endowments, wealth managers and insurers from the U.S., with some participating backers in Europe.
Similar to its predecessors, the fund will employ a value-add and opportunistic approach, with a focus on physical and operational improvements at investment properties, according to the report.
HighBrook Investors is a real estate private equity firm that acquires and actively manages property investments in North America and Europe that need repositioning or restructuring.
