Pátria Investimentos Ltda has $2 billion available to invest in infrastructure projects in Brazil, Valor Econômico reported, citing the company's economist Luís Fernando Lopes.
According to Lopes, Brazil is experiencing its best investment cycle since 2000, as the adjusted risk-to-returns is attractive.
In addition, the company believes that the new round of infrastructure investment bids, with reduced financing subsidies through Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social, will attract a high number of international investors, the Dec. 8 report noted.
