China Merchants Securities raises 3B yuan via bonds

China Merchants Securities Co. Ltd. issued 3 billion yuan of bonds on a nonpublic basis.

The 206-day notes carry a coupon of 3.78%, according to an Oct. 9 release.

The company completed the issuance Sept. 17, with the bonds set to list on the Shanghai stock exchange Oct. 10

As of Oct. 10, US$1 was equivalent to 6.92 Chinese yuan.
