Australian Pacific Coal Ltd. appointed Andrew Roach as CFO and company secretary, replacing Kevin Mischewski. He joins from Stanmore Coal Ltd. where he held the same position.
Perth-based Krakatoa Resources Ltd. named company secretary David Palumbo as a nonexecutive director. Palumbo, a chartered accountant, also serves as a nonexecutive director and company secretary for Quest Minerals Ltd., RotoGro International Ltd. and European Cobalt Ltd., alongside a number of unlisted public companies. The company also announced the departure of nonexecutive director Aryo Bimo.
Meanwhile, Yuk Chor Choi resigned as a director of Adavale Resources Ltd. to pursue other business interests.
Citic Ltd. mandated Liu Zhuyu as nonexecutive director and a member of the company's remuneration committee, effective immediately. Liu previously held various posts with ministries and government departments.
Australian technology minerals company Talga Resources Ltd. appointed Ola Rinnan as a nonexecutive director. Rinnan joins as the first member of the company's board to be based in Europe as Talga seeks to develop graphite-graphene processing and product technology operations in Europe, while expanding its range of industrial partners globally.
Miranda Gold Corp. signed John Anderson as a member of its board of directors. Anderson is chairman of advisory firm Purplefish Capital Management Ltd., chairman of Triumph Gold Corp. and a director of American Eagle Energy Corp., Huakan International Mining Inc. and Parallel Mining Corp.
Bravura Ventures Corp. has extended its board of directors to include Jerry Huang, who previously held positions with TNR Gold Corp. and International Lithium Corp.
Melior Resources Inc. has filled the position of COO, appointing Logan Francis to oversee the final preparations for restarting the company's flagship Goondicum ilmenite project in Queensland, Australia. The hire is the first of several anticipated additions in relation to restarting the project.
