The National Bank of Ukraine provided nationalized PAO KB Privatbank with another refinancing loan of 10 billion Ukrainian hryvnia to support its liquidity, news website Finbalance reported Dec. 27.
The loan was issued Dec. 22. The regulator refused to disclose information on the terms of the financing, citing banking secrecy.
Privatbank received a 15 billion hryvnia loan from the central bank following its nationalization earlier in December. That loan is to be repaid by Dec. 30.
As of Dec. 27, US$1 was equivalent to 26.65 Ukrainian hryvnia.
