MasterCard Inc.said April 5 that Raj Seshadri was appointed president of U.S. issuers.

Seshadri will join MasterCard on April 11 and will be responsiblefor managing and expanding the company's partnerships with banks and credit unionsacross the U.S. market. She most recently served as a managing director at , whereshe led the company's iShares U.S. retail exchange-traded funds business.
