Benjamin Edwards adds 14 advisers, nearly $1.32B in AUM

Benjamin F. Edwards & Co. Inc. hired 14 advisers for three new offices in Georgia and Arkansas and for existing offices elsewhere who brought nearly $1.32 billion in assets under management combined.

The company hired Chung Lieu to be vice president for investments in the Watkinsville, Ga., office. Lieu worked previously for Hilliard Lyons.

Tim Fitzgerald was named managing director for investments and Jeff Green senior vice president for investments for the new location in Jonesboro, Ark. Fitzgerald and Green worked previously for Stephens Inc.

For the new Eldorado, Ark., office the company named Laney Mitcham and Robert Waggoner associate vice presidents for investments. Mitcham and Waggoner worked previously for Wells Fargo Advisors.

Hired for the Benjamin Edwards existing office in Hattiesburg, Miss., are Charlie Banks, Joseph Hurston and Richard Moore, senior vice presidents for investments, and financial adviser Ryan Pollacci. The four worked previously for Wells Fargo Advisors.

Also hired from Wells Fargo Advisors was Eric Loy, who was named branch manager and senior vice president at the company's Springfield, Ill., office, and Jason Hall, who was named vice president for investments for the Morristown, N.J., office.

The company named Timothy Platt senior vice president for investments and Linda Dial financial adviser for the Naperville, Ill., office. The two worked previously for Morgan Stanley and Raymond James Financial Inc., respectively.

Robert Zimmer was hired from NYLIFE Securities LLC to be an adviser for Benjamin F. Edwards' office in Baltimore.

Benjamin Edwards now has AUM in excess of $21 billion.
