Australia's Coles recalls more ice cream packs over metal fragments

Wesfarmers Ltd.-owned Coles Supermarkets Australia Pty. Ltd. extended the initial recall of its Coles-branded Mini Classics ice cream packs due to the possible presence of metal fragments, according to a company statement dated May 2018.

The recalled product had been available since May 16, it added.

Coles is urging customers to return the product for a full refund.

The company initially recalled its 360-milliliter six-pack packages of Coles Mini Classics Vanilla marked with best-before dates of April 16, 2020, and April 17, 2020, and 360-milliliter six-pack packages of Coles Mini Classics Almond, labeled with a best-before date of April 18, 2020.
