S&P withdraws national scale ratings of Chile's Itaú Corpbanca

S&P Global Ratings on June 4 withdrew its ratings for Itaú CorpBanca as a part of a refocus of its ratings service in Chile.

The rating agency withdrew the long-term clAA+ and the short-term clA-1+ national scale ratings on the bank, along with PC1 ratings for its unique series of securities.

In November 2018, S&P Global Ratings announced it was refocusing its Chilean operations and that it would attend to investors with global scale ratings.

The outlook of the bank was stable at the time of withdrawal.
