Hummingbird Resources PLC's open pit ore reserves at its Yanfolila gold mine in Mali grew 32% to 675,900 ounces contained in 7.9 million tonnes of ore grading 2.66 g/t gold.

The updated estimate includes maiden ore reserves from the Gonka open pit and Sanioumale West.

The company plans to update its five-year mine plan and its 2020 guidance early in 2020 based on the updated reserves, it said Dec. 17.

CEO Dan Betts said the company will restart exploration drilling and study work in the first quarter of 2020.
