Spain's Endesa SA purchased a portfolio of planned solar projects with a combined capacity of 1,037 MW from Prodiel Proyectos de Instalaciones Eléctricas SL for €36 million, Renewables Now reported Dec. 24.
Endesa through its Enel Green Power España SLU subsidiary acquired 13 companies that own 10 solar photovoltaic projects, of which 102.5 MW may be finalized in 2020 and the rest are slated for completion by 2022, according to the report.
The projects will be connected to the Spanish grid operator Red Electrica de Espana SAU. Prodiel will provide co-development services for the projects under contracts totaling €65 million.
