Private equity group LVL3 said Jan. 14 that it acquired privately-owned HIS Innovations Group, headquartered in Hillsboro, Oregon.

HIS Innovations is a manufacturer and distributor of custom and off-the-shelf high vacuum and ultra-high vacuum stainless steel components and systems that are used primarily in the aerospace and defense, government research laboratories, and other industries.

HIS Innovations also provides outsourced stainless steel fabrication services for gas delivery systems and other complementary products.

Owner and President Corey Hoffman will continue with HIS Innovations as a board member and will work closely with LVL3 to ensure a smooth transition, as well as provide strategic guidance.

The companies did not disclose the deal terms.
