Orefinders ResourcesInc. said April 6 that it has filed its Notice of Project Status andupdated Project Description for its processing program at the Mirado gold project in Ontario.
The company will then have to file a closure plan, which willallow the company to transport, mill and refine the stockpile this year.
Ontario's Ministry of Northern Development and Mines will reviewthe notice and make recommendations for the closure plan. Orefinders will then beable to start its phase one plan to generate revenue from the Mirado stockpiles.
MNDM is expected to respond to the filing within 15 days.
Orefinders sees its phase one program as an opportunity to cleanup the former Mirado mine site and generate cashflow for ongoing exploration anddevelopment of the project. The second phase will include stripping and processingnear-surface resources from the existing pit.
