Windstream short interest decreases in 2nd half of November

Windstream Holdings Inc. had the greatest decrease in short interest relative to shares outstanding among Kagan-covered communications companies between Nov. 15 and Nov. 30.

The company saw short interest fall 156 basis points to 15.44% of shares outstanding at the end of the period.

Altice USA Inc. had the largest jump in short interest relative to shares outstanding among Kagan-covered communications companies between Nov. 15 and Nov. 30. The company saw short interest increase 153 basis points to 3.68% of shares outstanding at the end of the period.

Frontier Communications Corp. topped the list of most shorted communications companies during the period. The company saw short interest climb 56 basis points to 42.26% of shares outstanding.
