The Mint Corp.'s United Arab Emirates-based unit, Mint Gateway For Electronic Payments Services LLC, agreed to purchase the payroll card portfolio of a UAE-based financial institution delivering payroll to over 100,000 workers.

The acquisition, part of Mint's market consolidation strategy in the country, will increase the number of the company's payroll cardholders to more than 500,000.
