Miami-based Ocean Bank's unit Ocean Financial Services LLC has hired five investment professionals who previously worked at EFG International AG.

Among them is Mario Fernandez, who has joined Ocean Financial as senior vice president. He is a former director of EFG International's KeyStar Group.

Also joining Ocean Financial from KeyStar is Alexandra Rumié, who will oversee Ocean Financial's investment team's family office offering. In addition, Henry De Valle joins Ocean Financial from EFG International, with a focus on Ocean Financial's portfolio investment analysis.

Ocean Financial also appointed Daniel Cabrera and Maria Luisa De Jesus as investment analysts. Both previously worked at EFG International.

Ocean Bankshares Inc. is the parent company of Ocean Bank.
