EDP Renewables to sell tax equity stake in Ohio wind farm

EDP RenewablesNorth America LLC is planning to sell class B, non-managingmembership interests in the 100.8 MW Paulding III wind facility in Paulding County,Ohio to Bankers Commercial Corp. and Antrim Corp. or their affiliates.

After the completion of the proposed tax equity transaction,the EDP Renováveissubsidiary will continue to manage day-to-day operations in the facility,according to a Sept. 30 application.

FERC was asked to approve the deal by Nov. 14, and theparties intend to close the deal before the facility reaches commercialoperations in November.

The wind power plant will sell its output and environmentalattributes to Amazon.comInc. affiliate Amazon Energy LLC under a 12-year power contract.

Bankers Commercial is a non-bank subsidiary of MUFG AmericasHoldings Corp. and ultimately owned by Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc.

Antrim is a subsidiary of State Street Bank and Trust Co.and ultimately owned by State Street Corp. (EC16-195)
