SBI Holdings buys minority stake in Indonesian bank

SBI Holdings Inc. said SBI FMO Emerging Asia Financial Sector Fund Pte. Ltd., or SBI-FMO, purchased a minority stake in Indonesia's PT Bank Index Selindo.

The Japanese company did not disclose details of its investment in its April 12 statement but said SBI-FMO now owns a 6% stake in Bank Index Selindo.

SBI-FMO Fund is managed by SBI VEN CAPITAL PTE. LTD., which is a Singapore-based subsidiary of SBI Holdings.
