Newell Brands Inc. said June 4 that it will sell The United States Playing Card Co. to playing cards and board games maker Cartamundi NV.

United States Playing Card is engaged in the production and distribution of brands of playing cards, including Bicycle, Bee, Aviator, Hoyle and Fournier.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2019, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.

Citi was financial adviser to Newell Brands.
