Sun Communities Inc. closed its offering of 3,250,000 common shares, priced at $120.9857 apiece, on May 31.

The manufactured-home real estate investment trust noted that the underwriters fully exercised their 30-day option to acquire up to 487,500 additional shares in connection with the offering.

The company earlier said it aims to use net proceeds to repay debt and for other general corporate purposes.
