Insurance broker PIB Group Ltd. bought U.K. childcare insurance provider Albany Childcare.

The acquisition is expected to boost PIB's existing childcare proposition provided through Morton Michel Ltd. Albany Childcare will continue to be led by director Alex Keenan and trade under its own brand.

Albany Childcare focuses on small, family-run childcare businesses and specializes in providing insurance for all-day nurseries, out-of-school groups, playgroups and parent and toddler groups.
