Cathay Securities chairman steps down

Cathay Securities Corp. Co. Ltd.'s chairman and director, Chu Shih-Ting, has resigned from the company.

The resignation is effective Dec. 1, the company's parent, Cathay Financial Holding Co. Ltd., said in two Oct. 13 releases.
