Orkla ASA said July 5 that its wholly owned subsidiary Odense Marcipan A/S has signed and completed a deal to acquire Danish marmalade and fruit fillings maker Igos A/S.

The Norwegian conglomerate added that the acquisition of Igos boosts the portfolio of its Odense Marcipan brand, which manufactures marzipan products.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Igos will be consolidated into Orkla's financial statements beginning July 1.
