Augusta VAH FCU to merge with SRP FCU

Georgia-based Augusta VAH FCU is set to merge with North Augusta, S.C.-based SRP FCU, the Athens (Ga.) Banner-Herald reported.

Subject to regulatory approvals, the proposed merger is expected to close by the end of 2018.

SRP FCU has assets of more than $930 million and 130,000 members, while Augusta VAH FCU has assets of about $73 million and more than 9,000 members, according to the report.
