Nuveen Asset Management LLC merged its private equity and junior capital division with Churchill Asset Management LLC, to create a direct access platform with over $21 billion in capital commitments.

The combined divisions invest over $5 billion annually. The platform, operating as Churchill, manages over 250 portfolio investments and has over 150 limited partner investments in middle-market private equity funds.

Churchill provides senior and unitranche debt financing for middle-market companies and customized financing solutions across the capital structure, as well as private equity investments.

Both Nuveen's senior lending and private equity and junior capital investment teams will continue to operate without changes to their investment focus or process.
