SNT Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31 was ¥17.39 per share, a gain of 95.3% from ¥8.90 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥453.0 million, a gain of 94.7% from ¥232.6 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to 10.9% from 4.2% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue fell 25.1% on an annual basis to ¥4.15 billion from ¥5.55 billion, and total operating expenses decreased 33.5% year over year to ¥3.48 billion from ¥5.24 billion.
Reported net income grew 79.7% year over year to ¥557.0 million, or ¥21.38 per share, from ¥310.0 million, or ¥11.87 per share.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled ¥45.18 per share, a gain of 6.0% from ¥42.60 per share in the prior year.
Normalized net income was ¥1.18 billion, a gain of 6.0% from ¥1.11 billion in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue decreased 17.7% from the prior-year period to ¥16.56 billion from ¥20.11 billion, and total operating expenses declined 20.3% year over year to ¥14.95 billion from ¥18.76 billion.
The company said reported net income fell 12.3% year over year to ¥1.22 billion, or ¥46.58 per share, in the full year, from ¥1.39 billion, or ¥53.06 per share.
