Da Hui Q4 profit falls YOY

4910118 said its normalized net income for the fourth quarter amounted to 45 Taiwan cents per share, a decrease of 15.3% from 53 cents per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$17.6 million, a decrease of 15.5% from NT$20.8 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin increased to 9.9% from 9.2% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue decreased 20.8% year over year to NT$178.5 million from NT$225.4 million, and total operating expenses declined 19.5% from the prior-year period to NT$160.1 million from NT$199.0 million.

Reported net income fell 24.8% year over year to NT$15.4 million, or 39 cents per share, from NT$20.5 million, or 52 cents per share.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled NT$1.92 per share, a gain from NT$1.88 per share in the prior year.

Normalized net income was NT$76.1 million, a gain of 8.1% from NT$70.5 million in the prior year.

Full-year total revenue decreased 16.4% from the prior-year period to NT$798.5 million from NT$955.0 million, and total operating expenses fell 18.3% on an annual basis to NT$697.1 million from NT$853.7 million.

The company said reported net income increased 13.5% year over year to NT$82.7 million, or NT$2.09 per share, in the full year, from NT$72.8 million, or NT$1.94 per share.
