Openbay partners with eBay Motors to sell car parts

Openbay Inc. teamed up with eBay Inc. Motors to make a comprehensive selection of automotive parts and accessories available on Openbay's online marketplace for auto repair and service.

The partnership allows automotive care businesses to research, source and acquire automotive parts directly through the Openbay platform, according to a Dec. 20 company release. The selection includes a range of items from original equipment manufacturer parts to hard-to-find parts and accessories that are no longer manufactured.

The service also allows auto repair businesses that use Openbay to stock up on parts they usually need in bulk, such as engine and cabin air filters, oil filters, light bulbs, and fluids, among others.

In addition, Openbay made use of eBay's application-building software to streamline its end-to-end customer service.
