NetflixInc. is raising the monthly price of its legacy Standard packagefor British customers, TheDaily Telegraph (London) reported April 11.

Instead of the current £5.99, subscribers of Netflix'sStandard package will reportedly need to pay £7.49 per month from the beginningof May. Affected subscribers may choose to keep paying £5.99 monthly for theBasic package, but they will lose HD and multiple screen viewing options.

The price increase follows Netflix's similar move in the U.S.
