Amazon.comInc. will hire 1,000 more employees for its operations, despite the country's decision to leave the EU, The Daily Telegraph (London) reportedJuly 6.
The roles will reportedly be distributed between the company'sBritish headquarters in London, new warehouses in Manchester andLeicestershire, and research and development hubs in Cambridge and Edinburgh.
As such, Amazon will hire a total of 3,500 full-time workersin the country in 2016, including the previously announced 2,500 new jobs.
The company also recently expanded its Amazon Fresh deliveryservice to a total of 128 London postcodes, according to the report.
