Hilton Grand Vacations Inc. fired executive vice president and CFO James Mikolaichik because his conduct and behavior were not consistent with the company's policies, the company said Aug. 10.
The termination is effective immediately. It was not related to any "issues involving the company's business, strategy, operations, performance, financial reporting or internal controls."
"I'm confident in the quality and depth of talent in our finance and accounting teams and our experienced Chief Accounting Officer Allen Klingsick," Hilton Grand Vacations President and CEO Mark Wang said, adding that the finance and accounting teams and Klingsick will ensure operational and financial reporting continuity until a new CFO is named.
Hilton Grand said it has started a nationwide search for a new CFO.
The company reaffirmed its 2018 guidance and long-term growth objectives.
