Jerasia Capital Bhd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30 came to 1 Malaysian sen per share, a gain of 20.0% from 1 sen per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 1.1 million ringgits, an increase of 20.0% from 885,630 ringgits in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to 1.1% from 1.1% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 18.4% on an annual basis to 94.9 million ringgits from 80.2 million ringgits, and total operating expenses climbed 18.4% from the prior-year period to 92.3 million ringgits from 78.0 million ringgits.
Reported net income increased 32.0% on an annual basis to 1.3 million ringgits, or 2 sen per share, from 967,000 ringgits, or 1 sen per share.
