Shenzhen Ellassay acquires Vivienne Tam's brand rights

Shenzhen Ellassay Fashion Co. Ltd. has acquired a 75% stake in Chinese-American designer Vivienne Tam's brand rights in China for 37 million yuan (US$5.5 million), Forbes reported Aug. 9.

The Chinese women's fashion retailer also took over French fashion brand Iro in early 2017. It also owns distribution rights for U.S. apparel and accessories brand Ed Hardy, the report said.
