CBS Corp. created CBS Experiences, a new live and experiential events division.
The new division will focus on expanding the reach of CBS (US) programming and properties through live, entertaining and interactive encounters, the media company said June 12.
Rich Lobel will serve as executive vice president and managing director of CBS Experiences. Vinnie Favale, senior vice president of late night and talent development for CBS Television Studios, will work with Lobel on the company's new business.
CBS Experiences will create a range of ticketed and sponsored events at venues and touring exhibitions. "CBS Sunday Morning," as an example, will expand from the screen to the stage with "An Evening with CBS Sunday Morning Live," an event to be held at the Town Hall in New York City on Oct. 1.
