Gaming short interest dips in November 2nd half

U.S. gaming operators saw average short interest decline 40 basis points between Nov. 15 and Nov. 30, reaching 4.02% of outstanding shares.

Caesars Entertainment Corp. posted the biggest decline in short interest relative to shares outstanding among SNL-covered gaming operators between Nov. 15 and Nov. 30.

The percentage of the company's shares held short relative to shares outstanding dropped 287 basis points to 5.51% as of Nov. 30.

Eldorado Resorts Inc. posted the greatest increase in short interest relative to shares outstanding among SNL-covered gaming operators between Nov. 15 and Nov. 30. The percentage of the company's shares held short relative to shares outstanding rose 50 basis points to 10.79% as of Nov. 30.

Eldorado Resorts also topped the list of most shorted gaming operators during the second half of November.
