France-headquartered company Atos SE agreed to acquire U.S. technology consulting company Maven Wave Partners LLC for an undisclosed sum.

Chicago-based Maven Wave, a Google Cloud Premier partner with more than 330 employees, is expected to generate about $130 million in revenues in 2019.

The transaction, together with its previous acquisition of data processing and digital services company Syntel Inc., is motivated by Atos' Google Cloud strategy.

Following completion of the deal, Maven Wave will expand into Europe and other regions Atos is in, according to Atos CEO Élie Girard.

Atos teamed up with Google Cloud in April 2018.
